Contains Quatrefolic®,the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, the fourth generation folate, and is structurally analogous to the reduced and active form of folic acid providing greater stability, higher water solubility and multiple ingredients formulation guaranteeing an improved bioavailability. In some individuals, the use of natural folinic acid may be more beneficial than folic acid because folinic acid already has attached four hydrogen atoms and one methyl group, thereby shortcutting the complicated biochemical processes that assist purine and nucleotide synthesis.
